We finally brought my dad's dining room table and chairs up from California. The set is from before 1964 and it has definitely seen better days. We cleaned it up and recovered the chairs. I have no experience, but this has never stopped me before. I am sure I watched some show on HGTV and thus felt qualified to take the chairs apart. My mom and I found fabric on clearance for $3 a yard and did all of the chairs (6) and made a runner and a tablecloth for less than the cost of one chair cover at K-Mart. Thanks Mom and Jim for all your help.
